Be inspired by what's around you
Last week I went exploring close to where I live with a group of friends. I was only away from home for about an hour and a half, I saw loads of things I didn’t know were there, and I don’t think I would have been more than 3 or 4 miles from home at any stage.
We passed a tower used as a location in Game of Thrones, saw an amazing carpet of bluebells in a wood, had the best views over Scrabo Tower and the Ards coastline EVER, climbed for about half an hour and only then passed a burnt out car (just weird), saw loads of ruins, chimneys from the old lead mines, and of course had the best of craic as we did it!
It always pays to look around you, to see what you have close at hand, what’s on your doorstep. You just never know what might come in handy, or what inspiration you might get.
